ABOUT ME
I am a husband to a wonderful wife (I Married out of my league), and a father. Family is a big deal to me. We’re more like a tribe. I’m a creative thinker, a technologist and a digital strategist. I get fired up about the topic of leadership and consider myself a student of it.
Currently, I work as the Director of Communications & Technology at Bayside Church in Granite Bay, California and am loving it. Here’s the deal though, I have never worked for a church before. I have spent the last 10 years of my career working in the marketing and media industry so I LOVE that I can serve the church in this new capacity.
I talk a lot about Leadership. I have been experimenting, researching and talking about more open forms of Leadership for the last couple of years. It’s a shift in the way we lead focusing on community and collaboration while practicing being transparent, authentic and open. I believe we are living in a time where leaders will have to approach leading differently and acquire a different set of tools to be effective.
Little more History:
Before I came to Bayside, I worked in the corporate media Industry for 10 years working with artists, producers, designers and techies from across the country. Nearly 5 of those years were in the Marketing Dept at a company called Digidesign supporting every major music and media show in the country and some abroad. The experience paid off and led me to a different arm of the company. Live Sound. It was new for Digi and no one knew we were entering the market with such a stellar product. In 2 years time, statistics revealed that out of the 12 largest grossing tours/shows in America 10 of them had our product with them.
