In his Book “Free Play” Stephen Nachmanovitch says that “The activity of instantaneous creation is as ordinary to us as breathing.” There is no question that on a daily basis this is the case for us. But perhaps the improvisation in music is closely linked to the improvisation of life. Nachmanovitch believes so.

I came across this video of Stevie Wonder and felt like it’s a perfect example of pure freedom in art and life. The 2 seem to always be classified and categorized in respective places but in actuality they are one in the same. Enjoy.
